As Certe’s founder and CEO, Jeremy oversees the business vision while working closely with corporate decision makers in the group insurance and employee benefits space. Dynamic and dependable, Jeremy applies more than 34 years’ experience in the financial services industry to building long term relationships that deliver both value and coverage for our corporate clients.

Ben is the driving force behind Certe’s private wealth division, leading a team of qualified and dedicated professionals to guide clients through wealth protection to prosperity. His broad range of advice and management experience is backed by close to 25 years in the financial services industry; previous roles have included National Head of Financial Advice with Mercer and Head of Financial Planning for StatePlus.

Jen is an integral part of Certe’s leadership team, coordinating delivery of general business operations and major projects. She paves the way for development of systems that track and manage client data and investments to create solutions that place Certe at the forefront of customer service.

Curtis coordinates Certe’s client services and paraplanning divisions, overseeing the production and implementation of quality financial advice.  Curtis has been with Certe, including its earlier forms, since 2004 and continues to apply specialist risk knowledge to ensure his clients’ protection meets their needs over time.

More than 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry (coupled with the benefit of life experience) have helped build Phil’s legacy as our clients’ first choice for all important decisions. A founder of Genesis Financial Partners (acquired by Certe in 2024), he works closely with busy executives and large corporations who demand a high level of service, knowledge and professionalism.

Steve is a senior member of Certe’s employee benefits team, responsible for coordinating our wellbeing programs. Specialising in complex group insurance plans, he works closely with HR and finance teams to deliver value and coverage for professional services firms across the country. From onboarding and underwriting to claims and continuation options, he has a deep working knowledge of group insurance structure and process.

Alka knows what truly drives successful solutions is how well you connect with and understand the people you’re trying to help. Her strength is modelling and strategic planning; applying empathy and technical understanding in equal measure to help clients take a set of goals from concept to reality. She is a Macquarie University merit scholar, with degrees in Economics and Finance and a Diploma of Financial Planning.

As head of investments at Certe, Ed is responsible for providing portfolio construction solutions based on the most up to date research and methodology available. Prior to joining Certe, Ed worked in investment strategy for Genesis Financial Partners, CSP and Mercer. From a family of teachers, he thrives on continual learning, the latest innovations and the opportunity to empower clients through education.

Craig specialises in commercial insurance strategies that help safeguard business stability. With more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, he is Certe’s authority on keyperson, buy/sell (business succession), loan guarantor and business expense insurance. He can also chart a course for non-commercial clients looking to mitigate risk so they can live life with confidence.

An ex-Navy submariner, Craig remains obsessed with the ocean and boats of all kinds.

Doug has a wealth of industry experience, and a deep understanding of the needs of today’s professionals. He aims to brings clarity to the complexities of insurance, providing clients with the framework they need to make informed decisions when it comes to protecting their assets and future. Doug holds FPA/FAAA Life Risk Specialist Accreditation.

Wilton merges a background in engineering and manufacturing with over a decade of experience in the financial services sector. He believes meaningful outcomes can only be achieved by focusing on the client’s need – ninety-nine percent of the time a simple solution is all that’s required.
